These are early projects I did in my introductory wood and metal courses. Most of these were exploration specific to a given material and were usually finished within a week or so.
These are two woodcarvings that I did my first semester at RISD. They are both Basswood.
This was a bent wood project. It is designed to hold five apples with as little material use as possible while still being aesthetically appealing.
Sheet Metal Study
This was my midterm project for the Metals 1 class at RISD. It was a sheet metal cube completely held together by compression and tension without any fasteners. It is made out of tin platted steel.
